As a WFM Specialist in Rotterdam, do you want to turn forecasts into clear advice regarding staffing, costs, and recruitment? You will have significant influence on the capacity planning for over 100 customer service employees and will make the capacity model smarter and more robust.
Translating forecasts and scenarios into concrete advice on staffing, recruitment, flexible staff, and costs.
Further automating the capacity model and designing it so that it is transferable to the entire team.
Working in a small WFM team with short lines to customer service, management, Business Control, and external flexible partners.
This is what you will do as a WFM Specialist
As a WFM Specialist, you are responsible for capacity planning within the Consumer domain. Every week, you forecast how much customer contact arrives per channel. You analyze deviations, explain why they occur, and discuss your insights with team leaders and management. After that, you calculate how many employees are needed and advise on recruitment, budgets, and the deployment of external partners.
You also calculate scenarios for busy periods, such as price changes, annual invoices, and outages. In doing so, you show not only what could happen, but also what the choices are and what they cost. You prepare the monthly capacity meeting and lead this discussion. As a senior in the team, you help to further automate the capacity model and make it robust and transferable.
You maintain and improve the capacity plan so that the organization can manage towards the right staffing within the available budget.
You contribute to building one reliable planning model in which current data, assumptions, and working methods are clearly recorded.
You signal capacity shortages in a timely manner: in the short term (weeks ahead) for adjustments and the deployment of flex, and in the medium term (months ahead) for recruitment and budget. You always come up with substantiated advice that fits the working methods and financial frameworks of the organization.
The WFM team consists of five colleagues: a team leader, two trafficers, a planner, and you as a specialist. Together, you forecast customer contact, advise on staffing, and create the schedules for over 100 customer service employees within the Consumer domain. You work most closely with the planner. Additionally, you interact regularly with team leaders, coordinators, the Manager Service, Business Control, and external flexible partners.
You draw connections between data, events, and possible causes. You ask critical questions, view an issue from different angles, and make it clear which uncertainties a forecast contains. Do you see a deviation coming? Then you don't wait, but come to management in a timely manner with substantiated alternatives. You substantiate your advice and dare to defend your position.
Your most important challenges
Making an impact together
At Greenchoice, we are who we are. We want everyone to feel involved and valued, not despite, but because of our differences. It is precisely because we are all different that we arrive at the best solutions. Here, who you are matters. Your gender, religion, beliefs, clothing style, age, and home situation make you who you are. We strive for an inclusive culture in which diversity and equality are a matter of course. We find common ground in our shared goal: making smart choices together.
This is what Jelle, WFM Specialist, likes most about the job:
"I like that in this role you can really go into depth, but at the same time remain connected to what is happening in practice. You are given the space to look critically at figures and processes and contribute to better choices with your insights. On top of that, you work together with great colleagues, which makes the work extra fun."
