The role
As a CRM & Lifecycle Marketeer in Rotterdam, you ensure that customers receive appropriate communication at relevant moments. You combine marketing, data, and execution: from determining target audiences to building, testing, and improving automated customer journeys.
We don't want to disappoint, but we only accept applicants that have a good command of the Dutch language and are already (or about to be) based in the Netherlands.
What you'll do
You determine which moments in the customer journey are important and translate these into relevant, automated communication. You create segments, set up journeys, test messages, and take them live. In doing so, you constantly look at which message and which offer fit the customer's situation.
You work both strategically and practically. You maintain an overview of the various customer journeys, determine where improvement is possible, and implement those improvements yourself. You analyze results and use the outcomes to further refine communication, segmentations, and processes.
This will give you positive energy
Plenty of room to further build upon and improve lifecycle communication.
Designing journeys yourself and executing them in the Customer Data Platform.
Collaborating with colleagues from Campaign & CX, Sales, customer service, corporate communications, and other teams.
Your most important challenges
You develop and optimize lifecycle journeys, from the first communication with a new customer to important moments regarding products, contracts, and rates.
You translate customer behavior and data into usable segments, triggers, and use cases for the Customer Data Platform.
You bring structure to a dynamic working environment and, alongside daily execution, maintain visibility on the roadmap and long-term priorities.
Making an impact together
You will work within Campaign & CX in the Consumer domain. Together, the team aims to design customer journeys so that communication aligns with the customer's situation and contributes to customer engagement and retention. You will work closely with the Marketing Automation Specialist, Product Owner CDP, content manager, Sales, customer service, and colleagues from other domains. You will be given the space and trust to propose and implement improvements.
This is what Guido, marketing automation specialist, likes most about his job:
"What I like most about my work is that I am given the freedom to pioneer, which allows me to implement improvements quickly. This enables me to develop new initiatives that have not been tried before within Greenchoice, while simultaneously having a direct impact on our commercial objectives"
You are our positive energy
You maintain an overview without stepping away from execution. You see where a customer journey can be improved, make a concrete proposal, and implement this in practice together with colleagues. Does the situation change? Then you adjust priorities without losing sight of the goal.
In addition, you have:
Experience with CRM, marketing automation, or lifecycle marketing and independently building journeys.
Experience with creating and using customer segments.
Experience with Bloomreach or a similar Customer Data Platform, or demonstrable experience with data-driven marketing.
