About VIGO

In their own words

About the company & team

Together with the colleagues in training, you will nurse, care for, and guide clients with psychosocial or psychiatric disorders. You respond to requests for help, intervene in crisis situations, and act in a normalizing manner. Together with the clients, you ensure they can cope with their behavior and symptoms, and you encourage them to take control of their own lives. Building a relationship of trust with clients and maintaining it is therefore of great importance within this environment.

You offer individual and group-oriented guidance to participants within the hybrid learning department. You facilitate reflective practical experiences and, in doing so, stimulate self-reflection and self-directed learning. You have a coaching role in drafting and implementing individual learning plans. Regarding the integration of theoretical knowledge into practice, you offer support and stimulate evidence-based practice. Together with the other Mental Health Learning Coaches, you promote a positive and inclusive learning culture through coaching, feedback, and peer collaboration. You make a valuable contribution to the development and implementation of learning interventions and programs to optimize the learning experience.

You work at the LBV (Long-term Care and Residence). This is a clinical residential setting and has a wide range of clients with diverse issues and varying ages. The aim is to provide a safe living and residential environment, with matters such as person-centered care being central.

LBV consists of four units, each with two residential units. On average, six clients reside per residential unit in an open or closed setting for intensive support and treatment. Our clients are admitted here voluntarily or by force. The hybrid learning environment focuses on two of the four units.
