Are you strong in planning and organizing, communicatively skilled, solution-oriented, and do you also have:

  • A completed MBO or HBO education, for example in the direction of Building Construction, Built Environment, or a similar (construction) technical education.

  • You have relevant work experience as a work preparer / BIM engineer within residential or utility construction.

    These requirements show the direction of the profile we are looking for in this position. Should you not recognize yourself in all the requirements, but you do think this is the position for you? Then we would love to have a conversation with you.

The role

As a Work Preparer at Dura Vermeer Bouw en Vastgoed Den Bosch, you will work on various challenging construction projects ranging from residential housing to complex utility works, doing this using the latest technologies!

What you'll do

Together with your team of dedicated colleagues, you will work on drafting and coordinating the preparation planning, procurement, management, and alignment of working drawings. You will do this using BIM models and other digital programs. Additionally, you will be in close contact with the execution team to ensure a good and timely handover.

This will be your job

At Dura Vermeer Bouw en Vastgoed Den Bosch, we work on various types of construction projects: from landed houses and modern apartment complexes to utility and industrial structures.

Our disciplines are organized into value streams, ensuring you always work together with colleagues who share your expertise. In this way, we combine craftsmanship, innovation, and teamwork to achieve the best result together.

From the moment the permits have been applied for and the technical design is ready, you, as a Construction Planner, will work in collaboration with the Project Manager, Estimator, Site Manager, and other involved colleagues on the coordination of the entire process surrounding the project.

After drafting a procurement schedule, you will work on requesting and comparing quotes, after which you will subsequently purchase your materials and subcontractors during a procurement meeting.

You work together with the project manager and you are the director of the BIM model used in every project. You ensure that all disciplines (such as architectural, structural, and installations) are coordinated in the BIM model and prepare the schedules and drawings for the execution team. Additionally, you handle procurement preparation and monitor the financial progress of the project.

You find technology great, but you also work extensively with external advisors, subcontractors, and suppliers. You connect all the different parties and ensure mutual coordination. In this way, you have control over the project and manage the process as optimally as possible. Additionally, you apply your technical expertise within our design and tender teams so that we can secure beautiful new projects.

This is what we offer you

  • The salary for this position is between €5,005 and €6,256.72 gross per month (based on 40 hours)*, excluding 8% holiday allowance. The exact salary depends on your knowledge, level, and work experience.

  • On top of the salary comes a fixed amount for the Sustainable Employability Budget for things that contribute to staying healthy and motivated (2.3% according to CAO Bouw & Infra).

  • 43 leave days according to the Cao Bouw & Infra. Of these days, 13 are paid out in your individual budget; you can choose to buy these days back;

  • A laptop and a smartphone;

  • Excellent secondary employment conditions such as standard insurance for all employee risks, pension schemes, an extra supplement in case of disability, and a contribution towards trade union membership;

  • You have the choice between a mobility budget, NS Business Card, or an electric lease car;

  • With a permanent contract, you can choose a brand-new (electric) bicycle thanks to our partnership with lease-a-bike;

  • Much attention to your growth thanks to our own Dura Vermeer Academy with plenty of education and training opportunities within your field, but also, for example, in the area of vitality;

  • Company fitness scheme with a choice from a sports offering of over 3,500 sports locations throughout the Netherlands;

  • A good work-life balance thanks to a flexible working policy and smooth arrangements for working hours, working times, emergencies, caregiving, or sabbatical;

  • A fixed amount Sustainable Employability Budget for things that contribute to staying healthy and motivated;

  • For new fathers and partners: 100% continued payment of your salary during the 5 weeks of supplementary birth leave, instead of the standard 70%.
