As a Senior Maintenance Planning Specialist for High Voltage Operations, Maintenance, Fault & Repair in the Utrecht region, you will contribute directly to a reliable and future-proof energy grid. Due to the energy transition, more work is coming our way than ever before. We are switching to electric driving, generating more energy ourselves, and feeding it back into the grid. This requires major adjustments to our infrastructure. Therefore, there is plenty of challenge for a Senior Planning Specialist who maintains an overview, supports colleagues, and successfully prepares complex tasks.
Why working at Stedin gives you energy:
Working on high-voltage installations that are essential for the energy transition.
A versatile role with a lot of responsibility and a pioneering role within the team.
Variety between the office, working from home, and working at high-voltage stations.
As a Senior Planning Specialist within the Operations, Maintenance, Fault & Repair team of Business Complex, you are responsible for the preparation, coordination, and progress of work on high-voltage installations. You combine your own substantive workload with a coaching and coordinating senior role within the team. Thanks to your technical knowledge, organizational talent, and connecting approach, work can be carried out safely, efficiently, and according to plan.
A day as a Senior High Voltage Planning Specialist:
You start the day by assessing repair points and checking requests for completeness, priority, and feasibility.
During the weekly start, you discuss progress, risks, and opportunities for improvement within the region together with fellow planning specialists.
You ensure optimal preparation of work, including planning, material supply, cost estimates, and required documentation.
On location, you visit a high-voltage station where you coordinate with executing specialists and actively work on good cooperation within the chain.
At the end of the day, you monitor the most important KPIs, support colleagues with substantive issues, and coordinate with project leaders and team management.
All financial employment conditions at a glance, so you know exactly what to expect:
A gross monthly salary of at least €4548,- and at most €7267,- (based on 40 hours), 24.5 vacation days, and pension accrual with ABP, where we pay 70% of the premium.
On top of your salary, you receive a personal budget of 24% (including 8% holiday allowance). You choose what to do with the budget: for example, extra salary or (up to max. 35.5) vacation days. You can see how it works in our calculation tool.
An annual €700 (gross) to spend on your own energy, for example, for your sports membership or your new sportswear.
On top of that, there is this:
Your development is central: attending events with colleagues, participating in knowledge sessions, and following training and education. This is how you get the best out of yourself.
You travel to the office using the public transport free-travel scheme. This is a public transport card that you can also use in your free time. Or with the flexible travel scheme, where you choose, combine, and vary how you travel to work and receive an extra allowance if you come by bicycle.
Modern home working facilities and a home working allowance of € 2.40 per day. At Stedin, we work 50% from home and 50% in the office.
Moving forward with full energy with the Operations, Maintenance, Fault & Repair Business Complex team
From day one, you will be part of the Support professional group within the Business Complex department. Together with 24 planning specialists and colleagues from the entire chain, you will work on the energy network of tomorrow. You work partly from home, partly from our location in Utrecht, and are regularly present at one of our high-voltage stations. In this way, you combine flexibility with visible impact on the energy transition.
You are an experienced professional with technical insight and highly developed organizational talent. You maintain an overview in a dynamic environment, know how to set priorities, and move people into action. Additionally, you enjoy guiding colleagues, sharing knowledge, and playing a connecting role within the chain. You are proactive, strong in communication, and feel at home in an environment where collaboration is essential to successfully tackle major societal challenges.
