The Project Leader Work Preparation position is focused on coordinating and realizing the construction of dredging equipment, where production, cost-consciousness, outsourcing, planning, and logistics are core concepts. The role involves both mechanical and electrical engineering tasks. The distribution thereof will depend on the order intake and the internal demand for product development and standardization.

• Work preparation (drawing extraction, production planning);
• Making make-or-buy decisions, outsourcing work, and purchasing materials;
• Supervision, control, and acceptance of outsourced work such as, for example, construction, welding, and spray painting activities;
• Responsible for the logistical planning;
• Maintaining order administration, such as performing post-calculations and (progress) reports, as well as monitoring financial processing.

• You are practical, goal-oriented, resourceful, open in communication, accurate, and a true team player who can work well independently;
• You preferably possess a completed education at a minimum MBO level in the direction of Mechanical Engineering and/or Electrical Engineering;
• You preferably have several years of experience in (heavy) machine building and/or structural engineering;
• You have experience working with ERP systems (ISAH) and with MS Office;
• You are proficient in the English language, both spoken and written.
