As a work preparer at Hellebrekers, you have a varied job: you work for many different clients and no building or technical installation is the same. Exactly the challenge you love! From sustainability improvements in a swimming pool to an adjustment to an industrial installation: you maintain the overview and ensure that your colleagues can get to work with the right information and materials.

This is what you will do
You take on projects within the small business market (KZM) and ensure that these are well-prepared both technically and organizationally. This specifically concerns adjustments, replacements, and sustainability improvements for swimming pool, utility, or industrial projects. Within these projects, you are the point of contact for the project manager, subcontractors, suppliers, and technicians regarding the electrotechnical installations. You will be involved in assessing the work to be performed, preparing quotes, and purchasing materials. You also ensure that everyone has up-to-date information about orders, delivery times, and prices. Additionally, you ensure correct project administration and contribute to the completion of the project. You also work closely with colleagues from the Mechanical Installations, Water Treatment, and Control Technology departments. This is what you do on an average workday:

• Creating calculations and quotes;

• Researching and ordering assembly materials;

• Making technical calculations such as extra and less work calculations;

• Making cable calculations and lighting calculations;

• Creating schedules, stating at what time which activities must be performed and which people must be available for them;

• Providing guidance to technicians and subcontractors on the project;

• Directing the modeller/drafter.
