A structural problem where the solution is not immediately obvious. A leak that requires further investigation. Or a complex file in which the client, residents, advisors, and executing parties all have an interest. As Aftercare Project Leader at Dura Vermeer Bouw & Vastgoed in Amsterdam, you take control. You reduce the problem to its core, organize the right expertise, and ensure that not only a solution is found, but that it is actually realized. For a period of approximately 1 to 1.5 years, we are looking for an experienced project leader. Working on a freelance basis is possible.
As Aftercare Project Leader, you are responsible for a number of complex aftercare projects within our residential and utility construction. You step into projects that have already been handed over, but where structural or construction-related issues arise. Think of leaks, defects in facades and building envelopes, or structural deficiencies.
From the moment a file reaches you, you take responsibility. You inventory what is happening, organize surveys, inspections, and technical investigations, and together with the specialists involved, you map out the possible causes and solutions. You then translate this into a clear plan of approach, a schedule, and the necessary repair works.
But your role does not end there. You remain at the helm until the project is fully completed. You monitor risks, contracts, budget, and planning, and adjust when necessary. At the same time, you ensure good communication with clients, advisors, executing parties, residents, and users. File creation and reporting on progress, finances, risks, and decisions taken are also in good hands with you.
In short: you get the space and responsibility to bring complex structural files from problem to solution.
In this position, you will work on various already completed projects within the residential and utility construction of Dura Vermeer Bouw & Vastgoed in Amsterdam. This is a role for someone who enjoys working independently, but at the same time easily connects with different people and disciplines. One day you dive into the cause of a structural problem together with technical specialists, the next day you discuss the approach with a client or guide residents and users during repair works.
You will feel at home here when you know how to bring calm and structure to complex situations. You are not afraid to take responsibility, you dare to make decisions, and you do not lose sight of the interests of the various parties involved. It is precisely when a file becomes technically and organizationally complicated that your strength as a project leader emerges.
Strong in stakeholder management and communication.
