As a (senior) civil engineering planner at BESIX Nederland, you will work on the renovation of the Krammersluizen complex in Bruinisse.

This project is one of the most complex hydraulic engineering renovations in the Netherlands. The lock complex, part of the Delta Works, is being completely modernized while remaining largely in use. This requires smart preparation, tight planning, and close cooperation between disciplines.

As a planner, you ensure that the execution on-site runs smoothly. You oversee the process from design to realization and act as the connecting factor between engineering, execution, and project management.

In this role, you work on the preparation of civil works within a multidisciplinary project (civil, mechanical, and electrical engineering).

As a planner, your responsibilities include:

• Drafting and monitoring execution schedules and work methodologies;
• Preparing civil works such as concrete repair, structural adjustments, and integration with installations;
• Coordinating material flows, equipment, and subcontractors;
• Drafting work plans, risk analyses, and technical documentation;
• Identifying interfaces and bottlenecks within the project and proactively managing them;
• Supporting the execution team with technical issues;
• Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, including Rijkswaterstaat;
• Contributing to optimizations in planning, costs, and execution methods.

You are an experienced planner who maintains an overview in complex projects and gains energy from technical challenges. You think ahead, work in a structured manner, and know how to translate theory into a feasible plan for the field.
