The role

For our workshop in Horst, we are looking for a maintenance technician/machine technician. Are you a true tinkerer who enjoys working on diverse construction and infrastructure equipment? Are you at the beginning of your career or do you already have some experience? Then we have a beautiful, varied position for you.

What you'll do

As a maintenance technician, you ensure that our equipment remains reliably and safely deployable. One day you work in our workshop in Horst, the next time you go to a project location to resolve a malfunction.

Your duties include

Maintaining, inspecting, and repairing construction and infrastructure equipment;
Working on both large and small equipment, such as asphalt machines, rollers, spray trucks, vibrating plates, rammer compactors, and generators;
Detecting and resolving malfunctions;
Diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic problems;
Performing repairs and preventive maintenance;
Performing work in the workshop and at our project locations;
Maintaining the administration regarding performed maintenance and repair work.

Bedrijfsomschrijving

BESIX Infra Nederland is the knowledge-driven infrastructure contractor in the Dutch market, active in road construction, sewage installation, environmental remediation and the construction of infrastructural projects.

We offer full-service support for infrastructure projects from advice and design to construction and/or maintenance. We are strong in the disciplines of preparation, earthworks, sewerage, paving, foundations and asphalt concrete, always keeping the environment central. We are strong in RAW and UAV-GC projects and have extensive experience working in construction teams.

In addition to our head office in Herten, we have a branch in Den Bosch and our own asphalt plant in Roermond. Our workshop is located in Horst.

A total of 100 people are employed; the atmosphere is informal and the lines of communication are short.

Who are we looking for?

Above all, we are looking for someone who enjoys working with their hands and is technically strong. Someone who not only notices that something is not working, but also wants to find out why and subsequently solve it.

You are someone who:

preferably has a technical background, for example in mechanical engineering, automotive technology, agricultural mechanization, or mobile tools;
Experience is great if you have it as a technician, maintenance technician, or machine technician, however, we also very much want to offer starters a chance!
Works independently to investigate and resolve malfunctions;
Works practically and solution-oriented;
Is not afraid of large and heavy equipment;
Enjoys variety between the workshop and projects;
Possesses driving license B, BE would be nice, but we can also arrange this for you!
