We are primarily looking for someone who understands electrical engineering and can lead people in a pleasant and clear manner. Someone who maintains an overview, takes responsibility, and knows what is needed to work safely and well on-site.
In addition, you have:
Let us state upfront that you don't have to have seen or done everything already. Perhaps you are currently an experienced electrical technician or first-class technician and are ready to take on more responsibility. If you are technically strong, can get people on board, and want to develop yourself further, we would love to talk to you.
At BESIX Unitec, you get responsibility over your own crew and work on technical projects in which your knowledge and experience are actually utilized.
You can count on:
And at least as important: you work with colleagues who know the technology. People who are used to solving problems together and ensuring that the work is performed well and safely on-site.
You know what is required on-site to perform electrical work safely and correctly. And you ensure that your team can do that too.
As an Electrical Foreman at BESIX Unitec NL, you will provide daily leadership to a team of electrical technicians within industrial low and high voltage. You maintain an overview, distribute the work, and ensure that materials, tools, and information are available on time.
But you don't just stand on the sidelines watching. You are present on-site, know the technology, and step in when necessary.
BESIX Unitec works on technical installations within industry and infrastructure. Within your work, it revolves around electrical installations at low and high voltage levels.
That means working in a technical environment where safety, quality, and reliability are important every day.
You work at various project locations and deal with diverse electrical activities. One day the emphasis lies on organizing and supervising the work, the next day the situation specifically calls for your technical knowledge and experience in execution.
Precisely that combination makes this position interesting.
As an Electrical Foreman, you are the first point of contact for your team on-site. You lead a crew of approximately three electrical technicians daily and ensure that everyone knows what needs to be done.
Your responsibilities include, among other things:
You ensure that your people can do their jobs well. Do you see a way to do something smarter, safer, or more efficiently? Then we specifically expect you to make that a topic of discussion.
For that, we expect your technical knowledge and leadership
BESIX Unitec develops, realizes, and maintains technical solutions for complex infrastructure and industrial environments.
We combine electrical engineering knowledge with experience in complex projects. From low and high voltage to automation and other technical installations: our people ensure that technology continues to function safely and reliably.
The culture? Technical, entrepreneurial, and practical.
You get responsibility and the space to come up with ideas. We work seriously on our projects, but find it at least as important that colleagues know each other and enjoy working together.
That is why we have lunch together, regularly organize activities and drinks, and colleagues from the Netherlands and Belgium come together throughout the year.
Ready to combine your technical experience with leading your own crew?
Then we would love to meet you.
Do you want to know first which projects are happening, what the team looks like, or what this step could mean for you? You don't have to apply immediately. Feel free to contact me for an initial, no-obligation introduction.
