We are looking for a BIM Manager who forms the connecting link between people, processes, and systems. You will work together with project teams, clients, and project partners, ensuring that BIM is deployed optimally throughout the entire project cycle. With your knowledge and experience, you will help make our projects smarter, more efficient, and more manageable.

Since 1992, BESIX Netherlands has been realizing complex projects within civil engineering and construction. Think of large-scale infrastructural and multidisciplinary projects in which collaboration, innovation, and digitalization play an increasingly important role.

You will be part of our Competence Center, a team of approximately 20 to 25 colleagues in the fields of project control, environmental management, and construction information management. Additionally, you will work closely with BIM specialists within the BESIX Engineering Department.

As a BIM Manager, you are responsible for the successful application of BIM within tenders and projects. You are involved from the tender phase through to execution, translating the BIM strategy into practical solutions that help project teams collaborate more efficiently and gain better insight into project information.

You drive quality, collaboration, and process improvement, and you guide project teams in the optimal deployment of BIM. In doing so, you continuously look for opportunities to apply new techniques and developments within our projects.

• Developing and implementing the BIM strategy within BESIX Netherlands;
• Streamlining construction information management processes within projects;
• Identifying and exploiting opportunities for BIM applications from the tender phase to execution;
• Drafting, implementing, and monitoring BIM management plans;
• Drafting and monitoring BIM budgets;
• Assembling and guiding BIM teams;
• Coordinating and supporting BIM Leads within various disciplines;
• Coaching BIM Coordinators, employees, subcontractors, and project partners;
• Translating developments such as data management, drones, 3D scanning, and scripting into practical applications;
• Organizing training sessions and ensuring the availability of the right BIM resources and tools.

As a BIM Manager, you will work partly from our office in Dordrecht and partly at project locations throughout the Netherlands. Hybrid working is possible.
