Water Site Manager

In the dynamic and varied role of Industry | Energy | Water Site Manager, you are responsible for instruction, coordination, and you monitor the progress, finances, quality, safety, working conditions, and environment-related matters of the work.

Together with the project team, you have daily consultations and act as a fountain of knowledge and point of contact for the project, and you provide daily leadership on the construction site within your field. You have contact with clients, users, suppliers, and subcontractors where necessary. You oversee a safe, timely, and correct execution of the activities. In doing so, you report directly to the head site manager within the team.

• You are entrepreneurial and manage your work within the frameworks of the project;
• the use of LEAN tools is familiar to you - you are an enthusiastic ambassador of this methodology;
• you provide the input for overall planning and phasing, you draw up the 6-week schedules in consultation with your team;
• you perform inspections of the work carried out;
• you are responsible for conducting start-of-work briefings and HSE instructions;
• you track extra and/or reduced work and report this to the main site manager;
• you work in accordance with QHSE rules within BESIX and act as an emergency responder (BHV) on location;
• you arrange inspections together with the work preparation department;
• you attend execution meetings where necessary;
• you act as a point of contact on the construction site.
