MBO or HBO level.
At least 3 years of experience in execution, or specifically in the preparation, planning, and coordination of outdoor work.
The motivation to further develop yourself as a supervisor.
You help the Netherlands move forward, we help you
This is what you can expect from us - in addition to a good salary:
It happens outdoors! And that is where you make the difference. As a site supervisor at Boskalis Netherlands, you ensure that the execution of projects runs smoothly. Within Coast & Ports, you work on projects throughout the Netherlands, and sometimes in Belgium or Germany. Whether you primarily have experience in the execution itself or are particularly strong in the organizational side of the work: with us, you get all the space to further develop yourself as a supervisor.
Go for it!
You are responsible for the day-to-day operations on the construction site. You manage the skilled workers, monitor the planning, and ensure that the right resources are available on time. In this way, you bring projects one step further every day and see how plans become reality. You also constantly look for ways our work can be smarter, while continuing to ensure that everyone works safely. Because at Boskalis, safety always comes first.
What makes your work even more beautiful? You contribute to protection against flooding. With our experience in water protection, we maintain navigable waterways at depth and widen rivers so that water can continue to flow freely. We always work with care for nature.
This is what your work looks like:
Ensuring a safe working environment and a good atmosphere on the work floor. In doing so, you work together with the assistant supervisor.
Guiding skilled workers and helping them grow in their trade. You also continue to work on your own development as a professional.
Organizing the construction site efficiently, translating the project planning into a detailed schedule, and choosing appropriate working methods.
Reporting daily and weekly to the head supervisor and project manager regarding the progress of the project. You also identify deviations and make timely adjustments.
Liaising with your colleagues from work preparation, including to submit the complete handover dossier to the client.
You take responsibility for your work and demonstrate entrepreneurship: you work proactively, dare to chart your own course, and seize opportunities to organize the work more smartly. Thanks to your experience, you have an overview of what is needed to ensure the outdoor work runs well. At the same time, you communicate easily with colleagues in the office. In doing so, you convey your message clearly. You also always think one step ahead and respond to what is needed in the next phase.
Are you doubting whether you have enough experience, but are you enthusiastic? Then we would love to hear from you! Together we will look at what a suitable step would be. This means you could also start as an assistant supervisor.
Upload your CV via the application form.
Keep an eye on your inbox or phone: you will receive a personal response within 5 days.

You work together with...
... a team of 50 to 100 colleagues within a project, depending on the phase of the project. What characterizes our project teams? As colleagues, we work closely together and step in for one another where necessary. That makes the atmosphere close-knit and the lines of communication short. We also enjoy meeting up outside of working hours. Good to know: in close consultation with your project team, you can also work from home occasionally.
The Coast & Ports business line concentrates on a wide range of activities. By maintaining our coast and performing nourishment, we protect our country against flooding. By performing maintenance dredging activities on the shipping channels, we keep the ports at depth and therefore accessible. We perform land reclamation projects, construct harbors, and protect sea dikes, beaches, and shorelines. We do this with impressive pieces of equipment, from small to large.
The atmosphere at Boskalis Netherlands? It is down-to-earth, collegial, and sincerely involved - in the site office, at the project locations, and in the office. We help each other forward, keep learning, and all have the same goal in mind: delivering the work as well as possible. In everything we do, you feel the passion for the profession and the pride in our work.
It is good that you know how to find our vacancies and want to share them with a potential candidate, because we understand they might become enthusiastic about this great vacancy. However, we have not designed our recruitment process in this way; at Boskalis, we handle recruitment ourselves. This means that we do not accept unsolicited applications or CVs from W&S agencies and that we will treat these as direct applications.
Please note: Boskalis never asks for a financial contribution for arranging visas or other documents in relation to a vacancy. Be alert to individuals posing as our recruiters who do ask for such contributions.
