Are you a down-to-earth go-getter with a passion for renovation and sustainability? Do you get energy from working in occupied homes, right in the heart of the neighborhood, where your craftsmanship is immediately visible to residents?
This will be your job
You can be found on the construction site daily and manage the renovation from A to Z. Projects often take place in an occupied state, where you maintain the overview and effortlessly switch between tradespeople, residents, supply chain partners, and clients. You work with fixed teams and in long-term collaborations with housing corporations such as Nijestee, Actium, and Lefier. Not a day behind a laptop, but outside among people, where you know what works. Especially when practice differs from the schedule on paper. Together, you ensure that renovation projects are completed on time and according to the highest standards.
You monitor planning, safety, quality, personnel, and materials, and solve challenges practically: from unexpected wood rot to hidden asbestos. No project is the same; diverse work and custom solutions make your role challenging and varied.
From our regional office in Groningen, we work on diverse renovation and sustainability projects in the Northern Netherlands: from high-rise walk-up flats in the city center of Groningen to 1960s terraced houses in villages or detached homes in the rural areas of Friesland and Drenthe. Currently, we are working on, among others, the Vinkenstraat & Vogelbuurt (Oosterpark) - Renovation of occupied homes: asbestos/fire safety, facades/roofs, installations, and sustainability. Heemskerkstraat / Blekerslaan (Groningen) - Student housing: facade and roof work, insulation, installations, heat pump/PV, and finishing. Actium (Haulerwijk/Appelscha) & NCG Beijum - Large-scale housing improvement: custom renovation, sustainability, and earthquake-resistant repair.
Projects with real social impact, where people simply continue to live while you improve their living comfort and future-proofing.
Why this is such a great job:
You make a direct impact: better homes, lower energy costs, and satisfied residents.
You primarily work in your own region, right in the heart of the neighborhood.
You are part of close-knit, multidisciplinary teams that continuously work together smarter and more efficiently.
We encourage innovation, bio-based and circular applications, everyday improvements, and all of your ideas for improvement.
We celebrate successes and milestones together - team pride is central.
In short: are you that foreman who combines craftsmanship, leadership, and an eye for the resident? Then we offer you work you can be proud of, today and tomorrow.
This is what we offer you
Then we are curious about you! You can apply directly via our website using the application button under the vacancy.
