Requirements
What we're looking for
You are an HR professional with a heart for development. You see where people and teams can grow and know how to translate that into something that works. And you have the ambition to grow into a strategic advisory role.
In addition, you bring:
At least a completed HBO (higher professional education) degree, preferably in HRM, HRD, or Applied Psychology;
At least 3 years of experience as an HR Advisor, preferably with learning and development in your portfolio;
Experience with setting up or improving onboarding and training programs;
You advise clearly and convincingly, also towards managers and management;
You know how to involve colleagues from very different backgrounds in internal programs, from starters to senior specialists and from field workers to management. You spar with them about the content and translate their input into programs that align;
You work in a structured manner, maintain an overview, and make results visible;
You are curious about a technical environment and feel at home among engineers and advisors;
You have an affinity with digital learning forms and are open to new technology, such as AI;

The role
Let our engineers grow - and grow yourself into an HR Business Partner
Our engineers and advisors work every day on infrastructure, water, soil, area development, and the built environment. Their craftsmanship makes the difference. As an HR Advisor focusing on Learning & Development, you ensure that this craftsmanship continues to grow: from the first working day to the next step in their career.
In this position, the focus for the initial period lies largely on learning and development. At the same time, from the start, you will be part of the HR team and, together with the HR Business Partners, you will take on increasingly more general HR issues. This allows you to grow step by step into a broad HR Business Partner role.
What you'll do
You are the first point of contact for learning and development within Aveco de Bondt. You will start with the L&D portfolio and step by step take on broader HR advisory duties.
Your duties include
Further developing the offering for competence development: from personal effectiveness and collaboration to leadership;
Translating the growth ambitions of the business units into concrete learning and development plans;
Further developing onboarding, so that new colleagues know where they stand from day one and become productive quickly;
Selecting and coordinating with instructors and training partners;
Supporting managers with development conversations, career paths, and talent development;
Measuring the results of training and adjusting your offering accordingly;
Handling operational and tactical HR issues, such as absenteeism, performance, and development, together with the HR Business Partners;
Supporting the HR Business Partners in guiding managers and teams, whereby you gradually take on more independent HR advisory duties.
As you grow, you will move towards the role of HR Business Partner. You will then become a sparring partner for management and advise on organization, staffing, and talent. We will map out that growth path together with you.
How you'll work
Location: Holten or Nieuwegein
Experience level
Experience level: Mid-level
Additionally, you recognize yourself in our core values
- Social: Together you achieve more. You are involved, know how to connect people, and are open to other perspectives. You find it important to work in an environment where collaboration, fun, and respect are central;
- Pragmatic: You love to roll up your sleeves and look for solutions that truly work. No endless theoretical stories, but concrete results that benefit the client and the environment;
Entrepreneurial: You have courage and see opportunities where others might see obstacles. You think ahead, dare to propose new ideas, and take initiative to shape the future.
