Do you have an affinity for rural areas and do you want to contribute to the future of our outdoor spaces? Do you get energy from designing stream restoration projects, nature-inclusive agriculture, water and soil systems, or the layout of nature and recreation areas? Then we are looking for you! For our office in Holten, we are looking for a designer who wants to work with a fresh perspective and a sense for the environment on a livable and future-proof Netherlands. Should you live closer to our office in Nieuwegein, we also have a great place for you there!
As a designer, you will help translate vision into a concrete design. Think of designing a redesigned stream valley, optimizing a water management system for agricultural use, or preparing technical designs for nature development. You will work with modern design software such as AutoCAD, Civil3D, or QGIS and contribute ideas for innovative, practical solutions that align with the wishes of the client and the environment.
You will be part of multidisciplinary project teams in which you collaborate with Advisors, Landscape Designers, Project Leaders, and clients. You will perform design and drafting work, prepare technical documents, and take into account technical feasibility, sustainability, costs, and executability. The projects you work on are varied and can focus on themes such as:
Stream restoration and remeandering
Nature development and ecological connection zones
Land development and soil management
Climate adaptive drainage and water storage in rural areas
Recreational development in combination with landscape values
Are you the designer who wants to commit to a vital rural area? Then apply via the "Apply directly" button or contact Thomas Morssink (Corporate Recruiter) via tmorssink@avecodebondt.nl or 06 440 17 794. For substantive questions, you can contact Jan-Willem Veldkamp via jveldkamp@avecodebondt.nl.
You will join the Technical Management team, a group of approximately 25 enthusiastic colleagues working on diverse projects in both urban and rural areas. The working atmosphere is open and collegial: we share our knowledge, help each other along, and enjoy working together. In Holten and Nieuwegein, we are close to nature and to our clients, such as water boards, provinces, municipalities, and land managers. You will work partly in the office and partly from home - whatever suits the work and your preference.
