Mid-level Urban Planner/Landscape Architect

Location: At the office in Holten (working from home partially possible)
Salary indication: € 4,000 - € 6,500

As a Mid-level Urban Planner with an affinity for landscape, you will work on diverse and challenging projects. You develop urban planning plans and designs in which you keep an eye on the landscape context. You work together with a multidisciplinary team of designers, planners, and ecologists to arrive at the best and most appropriate solutions.

With your experience, you are able to work on projects independently and take responsibility for your own activities. You have contact with clients and other involved parties and know how to present your ideas and designs clearly. Additionally, within this position, you will be given the space to further build and expand your network in the East of the country. You identify opportunities, maintain relationships, and know how to contribute to securing new projects through your substantive knowledge.

In this way, you make an important contribution to the further development and growth of the Urban Planning and Landscape team in Holten, while you can further develop yourself towards a more senior role.

Responsibilities

• Developing urban planning plans and designs with a strong landscape component.

• Analyzing spatial issues and drafting integral visions.

• Collaborating with various stakeholders, including municipalities, project developers, and local communities.

• Independently taking on and executing tasks within projects.

• Presenting designs and plans to clients and other involved parties.

• Identifying opportunities and contributing to securing new projects.

• Building and maintaining a relevant network in the East of the country.

• Completed education in urban planning, landscape architecture, or a similar field.

• At least 5 years of relevant work experience.

• Strong affinity with both urban planning and landscape.

• Good design skills and experience with design software such as AutoCAD, Illustrator, Indesign, Photoshop, and SketchUp.

• Good communication skills and a proactive and entrepreneurial working attitude.

• Able to take on tasks and projects independently.

• You enjoy building your own network and identifying opportunities in the region.

• Ability to work both independently and in a team.
