For our HR Benelux team, we are looking for an HR Advisor (28 hours per week), based at our location in Rotterdam. You will join a close-knit and informal team that provides HR support to various Sandvik companies within the Benelux.

What you'll do

As an HR Advisor at Sandvik, you will have a varied set of tasks and work for multiple Sandvik companies within the Benelux, with a focus on the Netherlands. You will ensure the careful execution of operational and administrative HR processes regarding onboarding, employee lifecycle, offboarding, recruitment, and absenteeism. Furthermore, your strong communication skills in Dutch and English will come in handy. You are an important point of contact for colleagues and managers with HR-related questions and you work closely with various internal stakeholders.

Furthermore, you will be involved in, for example:

Guiding and processing changes in the Workday human resources information system;
Maintaining digital personnel files;
Administration regarding employment contracts and addenda;
Onboarding and offboarding;
Leave administration;
Absence management;
Collaboration with the Payroll & Compensation & Benefits department;
Support with international HR processes.

Your profile

You are a true team player and feel at home in an environment where collaboration is central. With your positive, integrous, and proactive attitude, you take on matters independently and at the same time know when to involve your colleagues. You work accurately and structured, switch easily between different tasks, and communicate clearly in both Dutch and English. Additionally, you possess knowledge of Dutch labor law and get energy from a dynamic working environment where no two days are the same.

Furthermore, you bring:

MBO+, or HBO working and thinking level. Preferably, you have completed an education in the field of HR;
Demonstrable work experience in a similar position;
Do you have knowledge of Workday and YouForce? Then that is a great advantage!
A good command of the Dutch and English languages, both spoken and written;

Location

This position is based in Rotterdam, but you will also occasionally visit other locations in, for example, Den Hoorn.
