The role

Are you studying HBO Facility Management and looking for an educational and versatile working internship? At PCH, you will fully participate within the facility team on location. You will gain practical experience at operational, tactical, and, where possible, strategic levels.

You will develop practical skills. You will work with an FMIS, follow up on reports, monitor, and optimize to safeguard and improve facility processes. Additionally, you will be given the space to carry out a practice-oriented internship assignment that aligns with your studies and adds value to the organization.

What you'll do

Supporting in the FMIS
- Receiving/processing reports
- Assigning actions based on reports
- Following up on report statuses
Conducting building rounds/inspection rounds on various aspects of facility management
- DKS forms (cleaning inspection)
- Building inspection (working lights, whether installations have been inspected, checking for other deviations inside and outside the premises)
- This also includes checking compliance with agreements made with suppliers (coffee/cleaning supplies, cleaning according to agreements, managing in terms of contractual agreements in that sense)
Supporting facility activities, such as internal moves, receiving suppliers, and carrying out small facility requests
Support with facility projects
- Improvement projects (sustainability, workplace design)
- Process optimization
- Drafting manuals, protocols, or checklists
Research/assignment required by studies

You will carry out an internship research project or assignment that is part of your studies. We will coordinate the topic together with you and your educational institution. The topic will align with the practice on location and can, for example, concern process improvement, quality, safety, customer experience, or sustainability.

What you get

Internship starting from September 2026 for 32 to 40 hours per week
Internship allowance of € 500.00 per month based on 40 hours per week
A fixed supervisor (of course, others can also think along/look and/or provide explanation and insight)
Fixed frequency in supervision to safeguard progress and to offer space to discuss matters
Support from the organization regarding access to systems, information, and documentation
