In the role of Facility Supervisor, you will be involved in:

• You are responsible for planning, coordinating, and organizing various facility and technical activities on buildings, installations, and grounds.
• You regularly inspect the condition of buildings and facilities, identify maintenance needs, and ensure that work is carried out in a timely manner and according to applicable quality and safety standards.
• You draw up maintenance plans and ensure the efficient deployment of people, materials, and resources, while continuously monitoring the correct priorities.
• You supervise renovations, refurbishments, and redesign projects on the yard and coordinate activities with internal departments, suppliers, contractors, and external specialists.
• You provide support during technical malfunctions and maintenance work, think in practical solutions, and ensure that any disruptions are quickly resolved to guarantee the continuity of operations.
• You monitor budgets, handle the necessary administrative processing, and promote a safe, high-quality, and environmentally conscious way of working within all facility and technical activities.

The Facility Supervisor is responsible for keeping facilities, grounds, and buildings operational, as well as partly (including electricity, water, and compressed air) installations, by outsourcing, coordinating, having performed, and monitoring various preventive and curative maintenance tasks. The position is focused on both the Schiedam and Botlek locations, with the primary focus being on supporting and facilitating buildings and grounds used by, among others, colleagues and suppliers. You will also ensure the proper functioning of smaller facilities and technical equipment.

Within the organization, you report to the Yard Facility Manager and lead Facility Employees and Maintenance Technicians. Additionally, depending on the activities, you manage contractors, suppliers, and other service providers.

You recognize yourself in the following profile:

• You possess an MBO-4 level of working and thinking, for example in the direction of technology, civil engineering, facility management, or a comparable technical education.
• You have a broad technical interest and know how to distinguish main points from secondary details regarding maintenance, renovation, and facility issues.
• You are able to plan activities, set priorities, and manage different parties to execute projects successfully.
• You have a practical attitude and, where necessary, roll up your sleeves yourself during technical or facility activities.
• You communicate easily with colleagues, suppliers, and contractors and know how to convey technical information clearly.
• You work safely and with a focus on quality, and you are familiar with the applicable safety, environmental, and occupational health and safety (Arbo) guidelines within a technical working environment.
