What we're looking for

  • 2+ years of relevant work experience in a similar role
  • Completed technical MBO 4 education
  • In possession of a B driver's license
  • In possession of VCA and VOP NEN3140 (or willingness to obtain these)
  • Good command of the Dutch and English languages (spoken and written)
  • Knowledge of Google Workspace
  • Knowledge of Priva is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal skills and logical problem-solving skills.

The role

For our European headquarters in Oegstgeest, we are looking for a driven and experienced Technical Facility
Employee to strengthen our team. Our headquarters is a 6-story sustainable building
including innovation facilities (BREEAM 'Very Good'), opened in 2014 and houses
approximately 450 employees. As a Technical Facility Employee, you are responsible for a wide
range of tasks involving equipment and building structure on and around our location. You ensure
that the facilities are in top condition to guarantee our business continuity.

What you'll do

  • Independently performing small technical repair works and maintenance tasks on location.
  • Engaging and managing external specialists for technical issues or large-scale maintenance.
  • Identifying and accurately reporting faults in building-related installations in the management system.
  • Supervising the progress and quality of the work performed by external parties.
  • Supporting facility services at the headquarters and R&D location in Leiden
  • Administrative tasks such as maintaining floor plans, checking technical drawings, invoicing, and supporting audits.
  • Ensuring a safe way of working in accordance with Environment, Health & Safety guidelines.
  • Continuously assessing processes and seeking improvements.
  • Responding to faults outside of office hours
