• A salary of € 3,500 to € 4,900 gross per month (based on 40 hours).

One moment you ensure the timely delivery of materials to the customer, and the next moment you prepare the calculation and quotation at the office. • As a Mechanical Engineering Work Preparer, you are responsible for the calculation, planning, and preparation of utility projects within the Maintenance department.
• Together with your supervisor—the contract manager—you assess whether the requests for small-scale work projects fit into the planning and are feasible within the set timeframes.
• Based on your technical knowledge, you know how to determine the approach to a technical question.
• Using the calculation program, you prepare the calculation. In this, you involve the necessary colleagues and, if necessary, partners to arrive at the correct technical solution and cost price.
• You are responsible for the entire preparation process of your projects, from kick-off to delivery. Thus, you check the drawings of mechanical installations at the start of a project, ensure a schedule for the activities, and coordinate them with partners and clients if necessary.
• You are responsible for the functional management of technicians.
• You maintain contacts with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors and make agreements regarding prices and delivery times.
• You are hands-on and support contract managers regarding technical substantive questions.
