Graduation project; Process Installation of the Future

The Process Cell in the Edulab in Veghel is equipped with several modern control systems that are used by many of our customers. These are Siemens PCS7, Siemens PCSneo, AVEVA Operations Control, and Rockwell Plant Pax.

We want to expand the integration of AVEVA Operations Control (System platform + OMI) with the AVEVA Batch and AVEVA CONNECT platform to achieve a modern application and leverage all new possibilities within the AVEVA portfolio. Think of cloud visualization, data analytics, and AI integration. We are connecting this new platform to the existing Siemens S7-1500 PLC, whereby we want to leave the PLC code unchanged as much as possible.

You will develop the new application in AVEVA Operations Control with us. This will include at least the following components:

• AVEVA CONNECT with:
  • Data Services (publishing process data to cloud environment)
  • Visualisation Services (cloud visualization)
  • Modeling and Analytic Services (data analysis using AI)
• Integration of AVEVA Batch Management

You will expand the existing Process Cell of the Edulab with these AVEVA systems.

· You are studying Electrical Engineering, ICT (Technology), Mechatronics or equivalent, and you have knowledge of PLC and SCADA systems and/or are willing to delve extensively into them during your internship.

· You are enthusiastic and have a passion for technology.

· You work independently on your assignment at our location in Veghel.}]

· Standing still is not an option for you. You want to further develop yourself. Within your internship assignment, but also on a personal level.

· You are a pleasant and critical interlocutor. You easily interact at different levels within our organization. And you provide advice, if necessary, even unsolicited.
