Site Controller

Within the data centers, you are responsible for the power infrastructure, cooling techniques, and system administration, as well as building management. You will work at various locations spread throughout the Netherlands, where the most favorable travel times are always taken into account.

· Coordinating all telecom and non-telecom activities (e.g., cleaning, cooling) that must take place within the data center;

· Resolving incidents within the data center;

· Performing preventive inspections and maintenance within the data centers (POP and BSC);

· Monitoring the capacity of the data center and reporting findings;

· Providing hands-on support for technical assistance;

· Acting as the caretaker of the work location (data center)

You will participate in our standby rotation (1x every 4 to 5 weeks).

You are customer-oriented, have strong communication skills, and have a passion for technology. You are the visiting card of Axians!

· MBO 3 or 4 diploma in technology (e.g., electrical/installation technology);

· Interest in data, telecom, and mobile networks;

· Analytical and spatial insight;

· Knowledge of, among others, fiber optics, copper, TCP/IP, Ethernet, Voice & Transmission, radio connections;

· Cisco knowledge is a plus;

You will join the Operators Business Unit, with about 65 colleagues. We manage telecom infrastructures from installation to management. Our Service Desk is available 24/7 and we also provide services such as Remote Monitoring, Spare Parts Management, and non-telecom support on-site.
