Work Preparer

You start your day with a cup of coffee and then check the schedule. Which modules are being released from Engineering this week? Are there any bottlenecks from Supply Chain for releases towards Warehouse and Production? Do you need to reschedule work so that production does not come to a standstill?

Afterwards, you coordinate with the project team to see if there are any emergencies. You check with the team whether the technical data package is ready for an upcoming job and ensure that all calculations are in order. You coordinate with the Team Lead Production regarding what will be built internally and externally. You consult with the Strategic Buyer about the forecast regarding the planning of the module construction partners. Thanks to your preparation, the project buyers can get to work without surprises and Production can get to work with complete modules.

Throughout the day, you are continuously the linchpin for the operational team. You answer questions, think along about solutions, and ensure that project modules are enriched and planned in an efficient manner, so that the Project Buyer can secure the right deal. Asking for permission? Not at all; you decide together with your colleagues what the right route is and make an impact within the team.

In between, you work on multiple commercial projects simultaneously. You create the project structure in the ERP system, including planning and budget, and maintain control over the progress. You see risks coming in time and act proactively. Meanwhile, you also ensure that all stakeholders (from Engineer to Production) are always well-informed.

In conversations with your colleagues, you gain valuable insights from the field. Do you see opportunities to improve our machines or operational processes? Then you work these out and we get to work with them! In this way, you actively contribute to continuous improvement.

At the end of the day, you feel satisfied by your contribution to the organization. Everything clear, everything arranged, exactly how we want it within Lan!

• Work experience in a technical role within a manufacturing company.
• At least an MBO4 diploma
• Affinity with ERP systems is a plus
• Experience with project-based working
• Knowledge of Excel
