The role

As a Production Planner, you are the pacesetter within the team when it comes to planning, purchasing, and production. Together with your colleagues, you will work on projects to bring them to a beautiful final result.

This concerns a job with a great diversity of activities. You will be responsible for everything within VDL Klima related to your project.

During the project's quotation process, you will already look at the possibilities regarding planning, purchasing, engineering, and production together with the sales department. This begins with the customer specifications, engineering, planning, and production, up to the (special) transport by freight forwarder.

You are also responsible for the VDL ERP system in which projects are planned, purchased, and financially monitored. The products are, for example, industrial coolers manufactured from steel / stainless steel, which are provided during assembly with both measurement and control technology as well as large electric motors for the drive of fans. Everything must be designed and assembled in accordance with the requirements of the customer and laws and regulations. Also, the facilities necessary in the factory for this must comply with these.
