Technical Support Engineer

What will you do?

As a Technical Support Engineer, you are the technical point of contact for complex issues regarding our vehicles and systems. When a malfunction cannot be resolved immediately, you step in. You investigate problems, analyze causes, and ensure structural solutions. You are the connecting link between engineering, aftersales, the workshop, service technicians, dealers, and customers. In doing so, you look beyond the complaint alone. You want to understand how systems work together and how problems can be prevented in the future. Your activities include:

• Analyzing complex malfunctions in hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, and control systems
• Supporting service technicians and workshop colleagues with technical issues
• Thinking along about sustainable solutions and product improvements
• Analyzing PLC software and controls (Codesys)
• Maintaining contact with dealers and international customers
• Recording solutions and technical documentation
• Building and improving the technical knowledge base
• Identifying recurring malfunctions and structural areas for improvement

No two days are the same. One time you are supporting a technician with a complex malfunction, the next time you are working together with engineering on a technical improvement of the product.
