• You have completed an HBO (higher professional education) degree and have an affinity with computers and technology.

• You have experience with Windows/macOS/Linux, Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace, user accounts, laptops, and peripherals.

• You are an IT hero, but not necessarily a developer.

• You are eager to learn, proactive, and solution-oriented. You maintain an overview and know how to set the right priorities.

• You enjoy being visibly present at the office and supporting colleagues personally.

• You do not have a 9-to-5 mentality and you can switch gears quickly.

• You live a maximum of 30 km away from our office in Groningen.

As an IT Support Engineer, you hold a key position within the company. Together with your team, you ensure that colleagues can work safely, efficiently, and without technical obstacles by providing reliable support, access management, and workplace management. Belsimpel is growing fast and there are many interesting projects you can get involved with. As a result, you truly get the opportunity to further develop yourself!

• You are the first point of contact for all technical problems and requests from 600+ colleagues. That means you support colleagues with IT questions, malfunctions, and requests regarding their digital workplace.

• You set up workplaces, maintain them, and ensure they are future-proof.

• You assist with the onboarding, transition, and offboarding of colleagues, including accounts, rights, and equipment. This allows new colleagues to perform their duties immediately and prevents security incidents when colleagues leave the company.

• You manage the inventory of IT assets and ensure that equipment is properly registered and ready for use.

• You record solutions in clear documentation and help make processes smarter and more user-friendly

• You execute projects focused on optimizing workplace management and ease of use.
