What we're looking for

You possess technical knowledge and experience at HBO (higher professional education) level, preferably within the manufacturing industry;
You have an affinity with production processes, machining, and industrial automation;
You are analytically strong and know how to translate data into concrete improvement actions;
You have a critical eye and a constructive attitude, and you keep the long term in mind;
You have experience with ERP and MES systems;
You have knowledge of and experience with Excel, Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate;
You work accurately and in a structured manner and have an eye for data quality;
You are proactive, result-oriented, and continuously looking for improvements;
Good knowledge of English, both spoken and written,

The role

In this versatile and independent role, you are responsible for managing (production-related) master data, analyzing (production) performance, and developing dashboards and reports. You ensure that our (production) processes are supported by correct data, clear insights, and continuous improvements. You are an important link between Production, Work Preparation, Engineering, Quality, Operations, and IT. Through your analyses and reports, you make performance visible and actively contribute to optimizing processes, systems, and results.

What you'll do

In addition, your duties consist of:

Managing (production-related) master data, including article structures, CNC data, tooling data, and master data in ERP and MES systems;
Monitoring and improving the quality, completeness, and reliability of (production) data;
Analyzing (production) processes and performance based on available data;
Performing OEE, downtime, capacity, and quality analyses;
Identifying trends, deviations, and opportunities for improvement within (production) processes;
Preparing KPI reports and presenting findings to stakeholders;
Developing, managing, and optimizing dashboards and management information, based on the information needs of the organization;
Supporting improvement projects in the areas of digitalization, automation, and Operational Excellence;
Acting as the point of contact for issues regarding (production) data and reporting.

Using modern ERP, MES, and BI systems, you translate data into concrete improvements and have a direct influence on the performance of the organization. Additionally, you play an important role in further developing data-driven working within VDL TIM. Thanks to the high degree of freedom and responsibility, you get plenty of room to make a real impact with your own initiatives and improvement ideas.
