The role

As a Collection Planner, you ensure that our drivers, inspectors, and equipment are in the right place at the right time. You maintain control over the daily planning, react quickly to changes, and act as the connecting link between customers, drivers, and colleagues.

Thanks to your insight, waste streams flow efficiently, appointments are met, and all parties involved know exactly where they stand.

What you'll do

Preparing, monitoring, and adjusting the daily planning.
Coordinating drivers, inspectors, and equipment.
Ensuring efficient collection and removal of waste streams.
Coordinating with customers, suppliers, transporters, and internal colleagues.
Identifying and resolving bottlenecks in the planning.
Monitoring lead times and the quality of service.
Advising customers on waste processing and regulations.
Processing and administratively completing orders.
Identifying additional work and commercial opportunities.
Supervising compliance with laws and regulations, including working hours legislation and environmental requirements.
Providing support during consignment services and acting adequately in case of malfunctions or deviations.

Requirements

No two days are the same. You are responsible for optimal planning and ensure that the collection process runs smoothly.

You are someone who likes to organize, thinks ahead, and can switch gears quickly. You maintain an overview, even when the planning changes unexpectedly.

In addition, you possess:

MBO 3/4 working and thinking level.
Knowledge of transport, logistical processes, or waste streams.
Geographical knowledge of the region.
Technical insight.
Good communication skills.
A solution-oriented and customer-oriented attitude.
The ability to set priorities and make decisions.
