Transport Planner

As a transport planner, you ensure that transports are carried out efficiently and according to agreement. No assignment is the same. You continuously look at how transports can be carried out smarter, faster, and more efficiently: you contribute to this.

How do you do this? You organize transports from A to Z, maintain contact with carriers and customers, and ensure that every shipment gets the right solution. You achieve this by:

• planning and organizing national and international transports;
• purchasing transport capacity from carriers;
• preparing and following up on quotes and transport requests;
• monitoring transports and solving operational issues;
• maintaining contact with customers, carriers, and internal departments
