The role

As a truck driver at Van der Velden Rioleringsbeheer, you are the visiting card of our organization. You work independently, but together with your colleagues, you are responsible for collecting fat/water/sludge and oil/water/sludge streams at customers throughout the Netherlands and Belgium. Think of, among others, restaurants, cafés, gas stations, and car washes.

What you'll do

What makes this position extra interesting is that your work goes beyond just driving. You will also be involved in:

the collection of fat and oil;
the checking and inspecting of separation installations for operation and any deviations;
working with checklists to prevent adverse environmental effects.

Requirements

With your driving skills, you maneuver effortlessly through narrow city centers and busy industrial estates. No situation is too challenging for you and you always maintain an overview.

You bring the contaminated water to our processing locations in Buren or Schalkwijk, where the load is separated and purified. Although you drive nationally, our planning ensures that you can simply be home every evening.
