Requirements

As mentioned, it concerns a combination of duties. As a Sewage Combination Truck Driver at Van der Velden, you are the visiting card of our organization. In this position, you are responsible for the maintenance of the main sewer system for our clients. Your workday is varied, to say the least:

Approximately 20% to 30% of the time you are busy driving the sewage combination;
70% to 80% of your time is spent operating the cleaning equipment, such as cleaning drain pipes and sewers with high pressure and inspecting the pipes with a camera;
You ensure that malfunctions are prevented and that everything is clean and tidy again for our customers and colleagues;
As a sewage combination driver, you are active both on the road and technically.

What do we expect from you?

VMBO/MBO work and thinking level;
You possess a driving license C (CE), preferably including code 95;
You have an interest in technology and would like to be physically active in addition to driving the truck/sewage combination;
You are willing to obtain certificates such as 'Safe working along the Road' and 'Safe working in Sewers';
You are customer-friendly, work in a service-oriented manner, and take responsibility for your work;
Your working hours are from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, but you are flexible if necessary;
You live in the Amsterdam region.

From the first day, we will provide you with extensive induction and training via our Academy. And because safety is our top priority, obtaining a VCA Basic safety certificate is part of our induction process. What do we expect from you then?
