What we're looking for

You possess a higher professional education (HBO) level of working and thinking, preferably in the direction of (Technical) Business Administration or Engineering, and have an affinity for planning within an Engineering department. You think in processes, maintain an overview, and know how to involve others in your approach.

Furthermore, you recognize yourself in the following competencies:

• Organizationally strong and analytically minded;
• You ask critical questions and thereby create insight and overview;
• Flexible and well able to deal with changes;
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written in Dutch AND English;
• Result-oriented and driven to achieve the best result together.

What you'll do

As a Planner at Feadship, you play a crucial role in monitoring and optimizing the planning process. In this role, you work for our Engineering department, where you identify opportunities for improvement, monitor progress, and ensure that all necessary input is available timely and correctly. You work closely with fellow planners, engineers, project teams, work preparers, and various production departments.

As a result, you fulfill a central role within the organization. The position is varied and challenging and offers a wide range of responsibilities, including:

Drafting, monitoring, and coordinating schedules with project teams, construction coordinators, and other disciplines;
Mapping out interdependencies between tasks;
Monitoring progress and reporting results;
Identifying bottlenecks and advising on solutions and process improvements;
Supporting the organization in the areas of scheduling and hour budgeting,

Additionally, you are involved in improvement and change processes within the organization, such as the implementation of new planning systems. This can range from commissioning to training and manuals.
