The role

Welcome to JYSK!

JYSK is a fast-growing retail chain with more than 3,000 stores in 50 countries. To support this growth logistically, the 10th distribution center is being built in Lelystad. Construction is in full swing and the distribution center is expected to be operational in early 2027.

But of course, that doesn't mean we are sitting idle until then! Currently, we are working hard from our temporary distribution center to realize a smooth transition to the new location.

What you'll do

As a Logistics Planner, you are responsible for the optimal planning and coordination of goods flows within our distribution center and towards the stores. You work closely with other departments in the DC, replenishment teams, the online department, shipping partners, and external partners.

Your tasks include

Management of containers and coordination of goods flows between inbound and outbound;
Planning and optimizing incoming goods and container flows;
Aligning stock in SAP and monitoring KPIs;
Coordinating stock transfers;
Performing ad-hoc tasks where necessary;
Planning the collection and delivery of goods to the stores;
Planning orders for the picking stations and confirming delivery plans;
Monitoring for out-of-stock situations.

We are looking for someone who takes responsibility, enjoys collaborating, and gets energy from a logistics environment that is continuously developing. Furthermore, we request:

Experience in logistics, supply chain, or inventory management;
Knowledge of planning and coordination processes within a distribution center;
Analytical ability and attention to detail;
Proactive, structured, and solution-oriented working attitude;
Team spirit and good communication skills;
Willingness to actively participate in projects and improvement initiatives;
You act according to the JYSK Values and lead by example.
