Gazelle has been part of the leading group for years when it comes to world-class bicycles. In our hypermodern factory in Dieren alone, we produce more than 1,000 e-bikes daily, which are sold through our international Gazelle dealer network. Dealers, in turn, provide service to the consumer and contact us to order extra parts and accessories.
From Supply Chain, you support both mass production and Parts & Accessories (P&A) for effective and efficient planning and smooth collaboration throughout the entire supply chain. In this dual role, you are therefore involved in multiple facets of our supply chain.
Your attention will go toward the availability of a continuous flow of parts and accessories for production and our dealer network.
You place orders, confirm purchase orders, and monitor delivery schedules.
Where necessary, you negotiate these schedules yourself with international suppliers.
With the insights obtained, you ensure the optimization of inventory levels and ensure that the consequences of fluctuations in planning have minimal impact.
In this way, you maintain extra stock in case of supplier underperformance or actively hold parties to made agreements.
You do not do all this alone. You are in close contact with sales & service, the warehouse, procurement, data management, finance, and product management.
You take on improvement projects yourself and work on implementing processes.
Within Pon.Bike, you look for opportunities to achieve synergy benefits.
Within the Supply Chain department, you work with a driven team of (procurement) planners. Together, you do everything possible to ensure the production process does not falter and the consumer can count on the Gazelle bicycle of their dreams.
Why you specifically want to work as a Supply Chain Planner at Gazelle
Your input is an indispensable link for our high dealer satisfaction.
