Residential Care Worker in the Netherlands

As a residential care worker, you are involved in the overall well-being of our clients. Together with them, you ensure a pleasant, clean, and cozy living environment. Think of doing groceries together, having a chat during coffee time, and cooking together. Always tailored to what the client needs and finds pleasant. You guide clients with daily tasks in the house and offer support with ADL where necessary. In doing so, you keep an eye on their well-being: you notice changes or problems and discuss these with the residential support team. The basis of your work? Building a bond of trust, so that clients feel safe and heard. In this way, you contribute to a living environment in which they feel at home.
The position is temporary with a view to extension.

In the position of residential care worker, it is important that you are client-oriented. In addition, you are well able to organize and plan your own work independently. You can collaborate well and are open to new developments. You can set priorities and boundaries. Furthermore, you bring:

• An MBO-level 2 Care and Welfare Assistant diploma.

• Work experience in a caregiving role and affinity with the mental healthcare (GGZ) target group.

• You are willing to work irregular shifts.

• A salary between €2,504 and €3,180 based on 36 hours (CAO GGZ, FWG 25)

• Your first contract is a temporary contract. If we are happy with each other, your next contract will be for an indefinite period.

The procedure consists of 2 interviews; the 1st interview is with the recruiter and the 2nd interview is on-site with 1 or 2 colleagues and a client.
