Stichting Kwintes is hiring for this role in several places. This vacancy is in the Netherlands.
This job advert was originally written in Dutch.
The role
As a residential care worker, you work together with clients to contribute to a pleasant, clean, and cozy living environment. You provide support with everyday household tasks, such as cleaning, laundry, washing up, and grocery shopping. But your role as a residential care worker goes beyond just practical tasks. It is precisely during these daily activities that you make contact with clients and build a trusting bond. You have an eye for the client and notice when something changes or when extra attention is needed. You discuss any specifics with the personal supervisor, so that the support continues to align well with the client's needs. In this way, as a residential care worker, you make a valuable contribution to the daily life and well-being of clients. You work 24 to 28 hours per week, from Monday to Saturday. We will coordinate your working days and hours in consultation, whereby you will primarily work during the day. A wonderful position if you enjoy being hands-on, value personal contact, and like to make a difference for others.
Your workplace
At our protected residential location on the Lorentzweg in Bussum, you will guide approximately 55 adult clients with psychiatric disorders together with a dedicated and diverse team. Everyone has their own room and ages range from 24 to 74 years - that ensures a lot of variety in your work. As a supervisor, you help clients get their lives back on track. We offer support in all sorts of areas: from day activities and work to social contacts and finances. The goal? Stability and room for development. No two days are the same, and that is exactly what makes the work so engaging!
Temporarily based in Blaricum
Lorentzweg is temporarily located in the former Tergooi hospital in Blaricum (this location is also easy to reach and is located next to the highway). Our own building is being fully and modernly renovated. As soon as the renovation is complete, we will return to our renewed location at Lorentzweg.
