The role
As a residential support worker at team Hobbemastraat in Woerden, you will support clients with psychological vulnerabilities in a protected living environment. You provide structure, monitor boundaries, and build a bond of trust. No two days are the same in the role of residential support worker: your expertise and commitment make the difference in the daily lives of our residents. You work based on individual support plans, drawn up together with the personal counselor. You ensure implementation, signal changes, and act proactively. As a residential support worker, you support residents with daily activities such as cooking, grocery shopping, and keeping the home clean, with an eye for independence and self-management. Where necessary, you provide support with ADL tasks. Within our enthusiastic team, you will work closely with colleagues and actively contribute to the further development of our way of working. There is room for your expertise, ideas, and professional growth to make the role of residential support worker your own.
Your workplace
You will work in the Schilderskwartier in Woerden with team Hobbemastraat, at a location for protected living with 24/7 guidance. The apartment complex has three floors with 15 sitting-sleeping rooms and communal living rooms, kitchens, bathrooms, and balconies. Additionally, there are two 2-person dwellings where residents share facilities. There is also an AdemPauzePlek (APP) at the location for clients who want to rest temporarily. There are also 4 satellite homes near the location. The center and public transport are within walking distance. Our target group is diverse: from young adults to the elderly, with specializations such as autism, addiction issues, and guidance toward independence. Together, we provide structure and a safe living environment. You will join an enthusiastic team that loves to collaborate and continuously develops itself to provide the best care.
