Caregiver

For this position, we are looking for a committed caregiver for 24 to 32 hours per week (hours in consultation). You will work in day shifts from 07:30 to 15:30, with shorter shifts negotiable. In this role as a caregiver / assisting supervisor, you are there for the client from the start of the day. You help with getting up, support with showering and dressing, and perform ADL activities. At the same time, you have an eye for what someone needs to start the day pleasantly. You also perform nursing technical procedures, such as measuring blood sugar (BSW), saturation, and blood pressure. In doing so, you work according to the support plans and offer care that aligns with the client's personal situation. During coffee breaks, you take the time to truly make contact and get to know the client better. With your attention and commitment, you contribute to a pleasant, safe atmosphere in which clients feel seen.

You notice changes in health or well-being and report these carefully. In this way, together with your colleagues, you ensure that the support continues to align with what the client needs.

From September 2026, the Lorentzweg location will be temporarily located in the old Tergooi hospital in Blaricum, because their own building is being renovated.

Team 1 at the Lorentzweg location supports 33 clients with a psychiatric background, both individually and in groups. Our goal? As independent a life as possible for our clients, with guidance in areas such as work, social relationships, and finances. The variation in care needs makes the work not only challenging but also very diverse. You will join a friendly team with various supervisors, where openness, initiative, and laughing together are central. And of course, there is always time for a cup of coffee!

Temporarily based in Blaricum
Lorentzweg is temporarily located in the former Tergooi hospital in Blaricum (this location is also easy to reach and is located next to the highway). Our own building is being fully and modernly renovated. As soon as the renovation is complete, we will return to our renewed location at Lorentzweg.

• You have a completed, relevant MBO level 3 education, such as caregiver IG.

• You have experience in a similar position involving caregiving tasks.

• You have an affinity with the target group, specifically adults within psychiatry.

• You are flexibly deployable and willing to work varying days, including weekends.

• A salary between €2,735 and €3,560 based on 36 hours (CAO GGZ, FWG 35).

• Your first contract is a temporary contract. If we are happy with each other, your next contract will be for an indefinite period.
