theFactor.e is a Human First Digital Agency where people and technology come together. We help organizations make their digital services smarter, more human, and more effective. Not by taking technology as a starting point, but by looking at what organizations want to achieve and what customers, users, and employees need.
For interesting client challenges, we are looking for a Business Consultant who quickly understands what is happening within an organization and helps determine what is truly needed. You connect organizational goals, user needs, processes, data, and digital possibilities and translate them into a clear direction and concrete improvements.
In addition, you serve as a substantive interlocutor and advisor for clients. You look beyond an individual project or digital solution, signal opportunities, and help clients make choices regarding their services and digital development.
You work for organizations in sectors including government, education, financial services, and business services. Together with strategists, UX researchers, experience designers, developers, and data and AI specialists, you bring the right expertise together to move from challenge to insight, advice, and results.
As a Business Consultant, you take substantive control of business and digitalization challenges. You help clients sharpen what they want to achieve, where the most important bottlenecks and opportunities lie, and which changes actually add value for both the organization and the user.
You quickly immerse yourself in the organization, strategy, services, and the people for whom those services are intended. You ask sharp questions, bring different perspectives together, and make complex issues manageable. In doing so, you also dare to challenge existing assumptions and help clients prioritize.
You explicitly look beyond the digital solution. A new platform, a customer journey, an AI application, or user research is never the goal in itself. You investigate what is needed in processes, organization, services, and technology to structurally improve a challenge.
Depending on the assignment, you work on analysis and research, develop scenarios or advice, help in making choices, and remain involved in the translation to implementation and results. In doing so, you use, for example, customer journeys, user research, data, and performance insights to substantiate decisions.
You work closely with our specialists in research, strategy, design, content, development, data, and AI. You ensure that the right expertise is involved at the right time and, together with the client, monitor the substantive direction. In this way, you help not only to provide good advice but also to actually realize movement and improvement.
Even outside of concrete projects, you remain curious about what is happening with clients. You signal new challenges and opportunities, think proactively about next steps, and help theFactor.e grow into a substantive and trusted advisory partner for our clients.
You:
analyzes business, organizational, and customer challenges;
connects organizational goals, user needs, processes, and digital services;
conducts interviews, analyses, and user research or collaborates with our research department in these areas;
facilitates workshops and substantive sessions with clients and stakeholders;
maps out customer journeys, processes, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement;
translates insights into concrete advice, concepts, and solution directions;
helps clients determine priorities and make choices;
translates desired services into processes, roles, responsibilities, and digital solutions where necessary;
drafting roadmaps and implementation plans;
guides clients in realizing changes;
works closely with specialists in the fields of UX, research, design, content, development, data, and AI;
makes it clear what improvements deliver for both users and the organization;
signals new challenges and opportunities at clients;
contributes to the further development of our consultancy services, methods, and approach.
You quickly understand how an organization works and know how to reduce challenges to their essence. You combine business administration insight with experience in digital services.
You do not need to be a UX designer, developer, or SEO specialist, but you have sufficient experience with digital challenges to participate in substantive discussions, ask the right questions, and engage the right specialists.
You feel comfortable at the table with a large client and can quickly get to the core of a challenge. You switch easily between strategy and execution and translate analysis into concrete next steps.
At theFactor.e, you get plenty of room to work independently on client challenges. You work together with specialists from various disciplines and receive the responsibility to provide direction to advice and change based on your expertise.
Additionally, you get room to help build how we further develop our consultancy services. In addition, we offer you:
a salary between € 4,500 and € 6,400 gross per month, depending on your knowledge, skills, and experience;
25 vacation days based on full-time employment, with the possibility to purchase extra days;
a good pension scheme;
a supplementary WGA scheme;
a personal training budget;
the possibility to work hybrid;
a home office allowance and support in setting up your home workspace;
a lease bike scheme with a permanent contract.
You will join an open and engaged organization where you can be yourself, initiative is valued, and colleagues enjoy working together and sharing knowledge.
Do you want to help organizations, as a Business Consultant, translate business and digital challenges into better services and concrete change? Then we would love to meet you.
Because most of our clients are Dutch, a good command of the Dutch language is important. Additionally, we appreciate it if you can work at our office in Groningen on a weekly basis.
