Saffier is an elderly care organization in The Hague. At Saffier, a driven group of professionals and volunteers works, dedicated daily to ensuring the most comfortable life possible for the elderly during illness, disability, or in the final stage of life. We are looking for a Nurse Practitioner for our location in Loosduinen.
Saffier's Woonzorgpark Loosduinen is a well-known name in the eponymous Loosduinen district. It is an atmospheric, welcoming, and cozy location. The location offers a friendly and homely environment to approximately 170 people with physical disabilities or dementia who can no longer live independently at home. Woonzorgpark Loosduinen is known for its personal attention and lively atmosphere. We believe it is important that everyone feels welcome and accepted. For instance, Woonzorgpark Loosduinen has received the De Roze Loper quality mark. With this national quality mark, we show that we actively work towards an open and safe environment for LGBTI elderly people. Together, we ensure that Woonzorgpark Loosduinen is a nice place to live, meet, and work.
In everything we do, we are guided by our DNA; that which connects us and makes us who we are and how we do our work. Attention, meaning, and care for the present and the future are the three important building blocks of our DNA.
Attention means that we have a sincere interest in the other person. In who he or she was, is, and their future. Meaning means that we like to give someone the feeling that he or she is a valuable human being. Always. Even if circumstances are sometimes difficult. Care for now and later means that we develop our craftsmanship and have an eye for the current and future needs and possibilities for our clients.
Are you an enthusiastic and independent nurse practitioner looking for a versatile role within a challenging environment? We would love to meet you!
As a nurse practitioner, you work closely with all different disciplines within a multidisciplinary (treatment) team. At Saffier, as a lead practitioner, you are responsible for your own department where you provide independent treatment and guidance in the field of the relevant target group, such as geriatric rehabilitation, psychogeriatrics, somatics, ABI (Acquired Brain Injury), Korsakov. For consultation, a specialist in geriatric medicine is always available.
Your work is very versatile. At Saffier, we have ambitions, which makes the position with us challenging, but we also offer you learning opportunities, by being able to work with diverse target groups, by connecting to or taking the initiative for (practice-oriented) research, and of course, participation in training and education suited to you.
Together with you, we would like to look at where your ambitions lie and how we can respond to them as much as possible.
Saffier's medical department consists of an enthusiastic group of specialists in geriatric medicine, junior doctors, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants. We also offer training opportunities for doctors in training to become specialists in geriatric medicine, and we also train NSs and PAs ourselves. We work across ten different locations and work closely with the care teams. In addition to medical care for our residents, we also support clients living at home with complex problems in primary care (in collaboration with the GP).
Saffier is an innovative elderly care organization where the client is central. We are therefore continuously building and improving. Your new colleagues would love to take these steps together with you. With our clients, we focus on who someone is and what he or she can and wants to do. Quality of life and autonomy are our starting points, not age and disability. With us, the principle applies: the client does the things he or she can, in his or her own way, for as long as possible.
You have graduated from a Master's program, Master in Advanced Nursing Practice, and are BIG-registered as a Nurse Practitioner AGZ
You feel at home in an informal organization where there is room for creative ideas and where thinking happens outside the box
You are flexible and easily approachable for your residents, their families, and your colleagues from the various disciplines
A contract of 28 to 36 hours per week
Salary in FWG 60 (min. €4,157.20 to max. €6,171.02 gross per month based on a 36-hour work week) or FWG 65 (min. €4,822.50 to max. €7,263.94 gross per month based on a 36-hour work week) CAO VVT (depending on work experience)
Working hours and days are negotiable
Saffier will think along with you regarding educational opportunities
Pension accrual at Pensioenfonds Zorg & Welzijn, 8% holiday allowance and 8.33% end-of-year bonus
We encourage health and vitality. Free fruit is available at every workplace, and as an employee, you can receive a discount on the purchase of a bicycle, personal phone, tablet, laptop, wellness voucher or gym membership
