Physician Assistant Orthopedics

• A completed relevant HBO (higher professional education) degree supplemented with a Master's degree as a Physician Assistant, preferably trained in the field of orthopedics. If you are currently still following the program and will graduate soon, we would also love to get in touch with you!

• A registration with the NAPA quality register

• Preferably you have at least 2 years of relevant work experience in a hospital or ZBC (ambulatory surgical center)

• A salary between €5,295 and €7,901 gross per month (FWG 65), in accordance with CAO ZKN based on full-time employment (40 hours).

• An end-of-year bonus of 8.33% and holiday allowance of 8.33%

• Travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometer with a maximum of 80 km (one way). Do you travel by public transport? Then we reimburse these costs fully

• A fixed-term contract with a view to permanent employment

• With full-time employment, you receive 160 vacation hours and no less than 72 extra PLB hours per calendar year. The PLB hour budget has no expiration period

In the outpatient clinic, you will hold consultations where you independently take a medical history and perform physical examinations. Based on the diagnosis, you will draw up a (medical) treatment plan and ensure its execution and evaluation. In the outpatient clinic, you will always work closely with a medical specialist, who is available for supervision during your clinic hours. You will perform independent rounds, act as the point of contact for nursing, and be responsible for medication and correspondence. If necessary, you may assist in the OR. You will also coordinate emergency care with your colleagues, acting as the first point of contact for emergency questions from GPs or operated clients. In short, a very versatile position!

The working hours are from 07:30-18:00 on weekdays. The clinic is closed on weekends.

• Running independent clinics under the supervision of Orthopedic specialists

• Post-operative follow-up checks, the postoperative wound clinic

• Patient follow-up, alternating with the orthopedist

In our hyper-modern clinic, we perform a wide variety of orthopedic procedures in four state-of-the-art 'Class I' operating rooms. Despite the advanced facilities, a warm and informal atmosphere prevails. We offer our clients and employees plenty of space: 21 outpatient rooms, 40 comfortable single rooms (open 24/7 from Monday to Friday, and also on weekends if necessary), and a private physiotherapy room. For breakfast, lunch, and dinner, an excellent restaurant with a roof terrace is available. Our location is situated right next to the highway, and you can park in one of the more than 100 (free) spaces at the door.
