At Royal IHC, we don't just build equipment. We develop smart, integrated solutions that are deployed worldwide in the dredging, offshore, mining, and defense markets.
As our systems become more complex, so grows the importance of an organization that seamlessly connects engineering, supply chain, and production.
That is why we are looking for a strong and inspiring manager who looks beyond their own department. A leader who connects people, improves processes, and provides direction for the next phase of our organization.
As Manager Production Engineering & Coordination, you have a direct influence on the way Royal IHC develops, produces, and delivers its equipment. You lead a team of experienced professionals and play a key role in improving collaboration, predictability, and feasibility within our projects.
This is a position for someone who gets energy from change, takes ownership, and wants to build something greater than a team alone.
Your challenge
The best designs are only successful if they can also be built efficiently. You ensure that this translation is correct. You operate at the intersection of Engineering, Project Management, Procurement, Supply Chain, and Production, ensuring that all disciplines work together towards successful execution.
In doing so, you look not only at individual departments, but at the entire value chain. Where do delays arise? Where can handovers be improved? Which processes need to be standardized? What collaboration is still missing?
You bring the right people together and ensure that improvements are actually realized. At the same time, you lead a team of technical specialists. You create focus, develop talent, and ensure that knowledge, capacity, and competencies are optimally deployed for the challenges of today and tomorrow.
Royal IHC is in a phase where further professionalization and harmonization of working methods are essential. An important mission within this role is developing a future-proof Production Engineering & Coordination organization that is ready for an increasingly complex product portfolio.
You develop a multi-year roadmap, translate strategy into concrete improvement initiatives, and help determine which processes, competencies, and working methods are needed to realize our ambition.
That requires more than just good management. It requires the courage to challenge existing working methods. It requires vision to see opportunities. And it requires leadership to take people along in change.
What do you bring?
You don't have to be the greatest technical specialist. However, you do understand how technical organizations work and know how to get professionals moving.
Because here, you do more than manage a department.
You get the chance to further shape a crucial link within Royal IHC. You work in an environment where technology, innovation, and international projects converge, and where your choices visibly contribute to the success of our organization. You build strong teams, better collaboration, and a future-proof organization. And in doing so, you help build the next generation of Royal IHC equipment.
