What you will do

As a Production Team Leader, you lead about ten operators and ensure that the production process runs safely, efficiently, and according to the highest quality standards every day. You are visibly present on the shop floor, know what is happening, and support your team to achieve the best results every day.

You are responsible for the daily management of the team, staffing, and good cooperation with planning, QA, HSE, process technology, the logistics department, and the technical service. You create a working environment in which ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement are central.

Additionally, you look beyond the daily operation. You identify opportunities, take on improvements, and take initiative within projects regarding safety, quality, and operational excellence. In doing so, you help to further professionalize the factory and make it future-proof.

We are looking for a leader who stands firmly in their shoes and enjoys working among people. You are visible, approachable, and know when to coach, stimulate, or adjust course.

You combine natural leadership with a practical attitude and feel at home in a production environment. Technical knowledge helps you be successful, but ultimately you make the difference through the way you know how to engage and develop people.

In addition, you bring:

• MBO 4 working and thinking level;

• Experience within the food and/or feed industry or a similar process environment;

• Experience in managing, coaching, or developing employees;

• A passion for safety, quality, and continuous improvement, and the conviction that good leadership begins with setting the right standards

• Good command of the Dutch language;

• Sufficient command of the English language to collaborate with international stakeholders.
