IC Nurse

You will work together with driven, well-trained, and sociable colleagues in one of the largest non-academic hospitals. Innovation is a daily practice here; in close collaboration with our multidisciplinary team of professionals, you are continuously working to improve the quality of care for our patients. New treatment methods and equipment are not foreign to us.

The Intensive Care Center (ICC) within MST is divided into 3 units. Together, these units have a maximum capacity of 32 beds. The working environment of the ICC is challenging and falls under the highest IC care in the Netherlands, assessed as a level 3 IC in the (old) qualification system. We have an important regional function, including for trauma surgical, neurosurgical, and cardiac surgical care. We collaborate with other ICs in the region in the fields of patient care, education, and research.

Specialized nurses, physician assistants, resident doctors, and intensivists work closely together on the units to provide the best care. In addition, they are supported by a group of permanent physiotherapists, dietitians, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and room service staff. There is a lot of attention given to research and education. The team within the ICC is led by two department managers, who are jointly responsible for leading a team of approximately 140 employees. At this moment, we are looking for IC nurses to ensure the continuity of care can also be maintained in the future.

• you are an enthusiastic and ambitious IC nurse

• you have completed HBO, MBO, or in-service training supplemented with a diploma for IC nurse and BIG registration

• you are an IC nurse who does not shy away from a challenge and who, in your own way, is an addition to our team.
