This is what you will do

As a dental hygienist within Oral Diseases, Maxillofacial Surgery (MKA) and the Center for Specialised Dentistry (CBT), you provide specialist oral care to patients with complex medical, oncological, psychological, and physical care needs. You combine clinical independence with intensive collaboration within a multidisciplinary team. You have an eye for the patient as a whole and contribute to safe, high-quality, and appropriate oral care.

This is where you will work

Within the MKA and CBT outpatient clinic, you work in a large, multidisciplinary team on specialist oral care for patients from Twente and the Achterhoek. The patient group varies from people with medical or physical vulnerabilities to patients who have undergone maxillofacial surgical or head and neck oncological treatment.

You work closely with maxillofacial surgeons, dentists, nurses, dental assistants, prevention assistants, a dental prosthodontist, a psychologist, and outpatient clinic assistants.

We believe it is important that both colleagues and patients feel welcome, seen, and heard. You will be given the space to utilize your qualities and engage in the tasks where your interests and talents lie. In this way, we work together to ensure a varied position that suits you.

You are an experienced, independent dental hygienist with an affinity for complex patient care. You take responsibility for your treatments, work carefully and patient-centered, and actively seek collaboration with other disciplines.

What makes this position special

You work at the intersection of oral care, specialised dentistry, maxillofacial surgery, and head and neck oncology. The combination of specialist treatments, complex patient care, and multidisciplinary collaboration makes this a versatile position in which you can fully utilize your clinical expertise and independence.
