AIOS Hospital Pharmacy

You will be trained within the North-East Education and Training Region (OOR-NO): a powerful partnership of 6 hospital pharmacies: Frisius MC Leeuwarden, Martini Hospital Groningen, Isala Zwolle, UMCG Groningen, MST Enschede, and ZGT Almelo/Hengelo.

The trainers from these centers pool their expertise to offer you a training program that is substantively strong, people-oriented, ambitious, and realistic. You will work in modern pharmacies with short lines of communication, extensive knowledge sharing, innovative projects, and a stimulating learning environment. In short: you will become part of a professional, close-knit, and ambitious network that supports you in growing into a future-proof hospital pharmacist.

In 4 years, you will grow into a hospital pharmacist in accordance with the ELOZ-IV version 2026 established by the NVZA. You will learn to switch between patient care, preparations, laboratory, clinical and outpatient pharmacy, medicinal policy, and research and innovation projects. In this way, you will develop into an all-round clinical-pharmaceutical specialist who has a visible impact on patient safety, teamwork, and hospital-wide processes.
