This assignment runs for a longer period, at one location in Breda. You will become part of the team. No changing faces, no constant retraining.

You will be working within a treatment center for adults aged 18 and over with mental health issues who temporarily require more support. The treatment is focused on recovery, stability, resilience, and rediscovering self-management, confidence, and perspective.

The location offers both outpatient treatment and temporary clinical treatment. Within the clinic, clients stay for an average of three weeks on an open ward, where admission is voluntary. Clinical treatment is intended for clients for whom outpatient treatment temporarily offers insufficient support and who would benefit from more structure, guidance, and treatment. As a nurse in the night shift, you play an important role in providing a calm and safe environment, so that clients can also rely on appropriate support during the night.

• Providing nursing care and guidance to clients during the night.
• Monitoring calm, structure, and safety on the ward.
• Observing and signaling changes in the mental and physical condition of clients.
• Supporting clients during restlessness, tension, or other requests for help and acting adequately where necessary.
• Reporting and handing over relevant details to colleagues on the following shift.

You build a bond with the same clients and you see the results of your guidance. You work according to a schedule that you know in advance.

You will be employed on a secondment basis by GOED. and work for the client. Your salary, your contract, and your guidance are managed through us.

• Salary in accordance with CAO Mental Health Care, classification in job group 45 or 50 depending on your education: €3,180 to €4,716 gross per month for 36 hours. Amounts as of July 1, 2026.
• 8.33% holiday allowance, 8.33% year-end bonus, and irregularity allowance: 22% in the evening, 44% at night, 38% to 49% on Saturday, and 60% on Sunday and public holidays. A Sunday shift therefore yields up to €44.43 per hour.

• A completed mbo level 4 or hbo degree in nursing.
• You preferably want to work exclusively night shifts.
• You are independent and observant and know how to provide calm and safety during the night.
• Good communication skills and the ability to switch gears quickly.
• A calm and professional attitude, even under pressure, with which you offer clients the necessary peace and security.
• Experience within psychiatry is a plus.
